The Daytona Coupe is a variant on the AC Cobra made in the sixties by Shelby. It was a very limited production (six units), but the body beautiful and impressive performance (reaching almost 190 mph), made the audience cry out for the car that Carroll Shelby, Peter Brock and Bob Negstad had created. It was also extremely successful in auto racing because it was the first and only American car to win the GT World Championship organized by the FIA in 1965.
Moving to 2009 (the car is model 2010), we note that the appearance of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, little has changed. The MKII version CSX 9000 is a replica of the original model, which receives more sports rims 18 inches and integrated fog lamps and large differential. Its chassis (aluminum) and body are numbered and autographed by Carroll Shelby.
The Price: $195,000 Dlls.
